Story Pitches
Dreamfish Incorporated
Somewhere in the 90s, a company sells ideas, screenplays and exposés emerging from the use of dreamfishes, whose electric fields alter brainwaves and stimulate visionary experiences. But when six half-day student employees fall into a coma during a prolonged dreamfish session, the public reputation of Dreamfish Incorporated declines drastically. Just when the government is about to shut down the facility for security reasons, one of the coma patients awakes. He is sure that the other five students can be awakened, but only from within the dreamfish universe, where all brainwaves merge into one. Against official decision the sixth student returns to the dreamfish universe. A strange journey begins.
Buddha in Hell
When Gautama Buddha, founder of Buddhism, dies, he is accidently being rerouted to the christian afterlife channel, where, as a heretic, he is being condemned to stay in hell for all eternity, an endless pit of despair and, well despised by Buddha, infinite suffering. Exactly as tailored to the instructions of Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy, there is a way out, through the nine circles of hell, requiring Buddha to use his enlightened spirit to solve quests and overcome barriers set up by the all-seeing eye, and his evil counterpart, Satan himself.
